innovative programming designed for caregivers and utilized by thousands around the country

and professional in scope.
Dr. Jamie's approach is to "educate, empower and energize " his audiences while also
shifting the consciousness around caregiving. His affordable trainings, seminars and

"Dr Jamie" is a Psychologist and Board Certified licensed clinical social worker. In addition,
he is a Certified Addictions Counselor,a Compassion Fatigue therapist and an Eriksonian
Hypnotherapist. He uses every license and certification he has acquired in today growing,

Voted the NASW Social Worker of the Year 2008 by the State of Florida, Dr. J is a well known
international speaker specializing in compelling caregiver topics and working with the worlds

In his private practice he works with individuals, couples and families using innovative
psychotherapeutic techniques. The client-therapist relationship is the essence of all of his
work yesterday, today and tomorrow. Staying connected to the resilience of the transformative
human spirit is vital for his presentations and his administrative life.
Among his areas of expertise are caregiver innovations, mental health challenges such as
depression and bipolar disorder and the treatment of addictions and co-addictions of all types.
His intergenerational work with adolescents, adults and seniors serve as a vital component
for his work with LGMF, as well.
He is an adjunct professor at Florida International University and clinically oversees Doctoral
students throughout South Florida as they learn the power of group therapy.
Dr Jamie has presented on TV, radio and at many national conferences since 1991, appearing
on hundreds of talk, court and reality shows, beginning a state of the art program that assisted
thousands of people called TV Aftercare.
Dr. Jamie is a practical, interactive, Jungian influenced therapist. His treatment approach is to
facilitate the healing of his clients and to assist them in resolving current problems and
long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches,
drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for
each client.
